Aren't Ebooks great? For readers, of course, but above all for writers. After years of hawking my wares around paperback publishers - with some success, but also many disappointments - I didn't think I would ever want to write for publication again.

But the Ebook revolution has changed everything. Authors now have almost complete control over the publishing process, from cover images to pricing. Royalties are way above anything we could have dreamed of in the old hard copy days. No more endless waiting for those letters or phone calls from editors or agents - just get on and do it all yourself!

So I've been looking back over the ideas and synopses I wrote. I found three chapters and a synopsis of a book that had never seen the light of day, and finished it. The result is 'His Leather and Lace Bride,' which I really enjoyed writing. You can find it in online e-bookstores now.

My current book is a kind of Gothic romance, featuring a teenage girl, her phantom lovers and her mother's boyfriend. I'd worked out a detailed synopsis but not taken it any further, so I am having fun writing it for the first time. Hopefully it will be on sale as an ebook in
a month or so - watch this space!
